​Maya started her training at WSPA when she was nine. She is currently apart of the Performance Program but was previously in the Senior Professional Division. Maya decided to switch during the middle of our first year on Zoom because sheltering in place allowed her to take the time to think about what dance means for her; joining the Company level gave Maya more freedom to continue to pursue her love for dance. Next year, Maya will be a senior at Lick-Wilmerding High School and is working towards becoming a forensic psychologist.
