LoRee Kenagy uses dance to make a positive impact on her students and her community. A Bay Area native, LoRee has trained professionally for over 30 years. She grew up embracing the expectations of an ambitious local studio and then moved on to receive her BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona in 2004. Her performance career includes both company and commercial credits, as listed below.
LoRee has supported the aspirations of her students for nearly 20 years, sending the most determined to the dance programs of their choice. She is thrilled to return to the faculty at Westlake School of the Arts in Daly City, as she continues to train dancers privately throughout the bay area.
LoRee has also mentored hundreds of dance educators and studio owners throughout the country, encouraging the viability of dance programs through her contributions to online curriculum and studio management tools, Twinkle Star Dance© and CostumeManager.com©. TapIN Youth Dance Ensemble, LoRee’s latest project, is committed to social justice, using the stage as a platform to promote equity.
